Obituary

Devin Earl Gullickson, 38, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at his home in Madison, WI. He was born on January 15, 1983 to Richard Gullickson (Carol Connery) and Marcia Gullickson-Ellestad (Michael Ellestad).

Devin was a master painter with sharp attention to detail and a strong work ethic. He was creative, funny and always a good storyteller.

His favorite pastime was going camping with his family. He loved playing cornhole, singing karaoke or dancing around a campfire. And once in a while you may have found him sleeping on a water raft on the pond nearby.

His biggest accomplishment in life was being an uncle. He cherished and loved all of his nieces and nephews and counted the day until he could be with family again.

Devin was preceded in death by his father, Richard Gullickson. Devin is survived by Marcia Gullickson; mother, Michael Ellestad; step-father, Carol Connery; step-mother, Kathy (Jim) Burge; maternal grandparents, Darleen (Dave) Kruckenberg; paternal grandparents and three sisters; Ashley Gullickson (Justin Faust), Amber (Robert) Barnes, Rhea (Morgan) Vacha. Devin also leaves behind 6 nephews and 2 nieces and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private visitation is scheduled for immediate family only. If you wish to send an expression of sympathy, the family’s wishes you donate to Jordan Strong Benefit Account/Monona State Bank (5515 Monona Drive, Monona, WI 53716).
