James-Paul Gabriel Bacon, age 44, passed away March 4, 2021, surrounded by his family after a valiant fight with cancer. Paul was born in Beloit, WI on Sunday, June 13th 1976, to Dennis and Connie (Lineback) Bacon. Paul was a 1996 graduate of Belleville High School. He married the love of his life, Angie, on May 5, 2018. He was known for amazing hugs, a generous spirit, and pride for his daughter, Gillian. His Irish heritage was important to him and he enjoyed attending Celtic events with his brother and friends. He loved discussing forging and knife-smithing, especially with his nephew, Lane.

Paul was ordained and served at Exodus Covenant Christian Center of Madison and his faith was a critical component of his life. There is no denying Paul’s ability to brighten up a room with his smile and sense of humor. His kindness extended beyond his family and friends – to strangers and even his cat, Nolly, who never left his side.

Paul is survived by his wife, Angela (Robelia) Bacon; daughter, Gillian Bacon; parents Dennis and Connie Bacon; brothers Neil (Jaime) Bacon; Tom Bacon; William (Joann) Bacon; sister, Bri Cook as well as several nephews and nieces, and many friends.

May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

One memory I have of Paul, making firewood shortly after that a tornado went through outskirts of belleville ended in Oregon, Paul said right before that the leaves would show there light side during a tornado,I said when the bark starts peeling off the tree would be more of an indicator, then my dad was driving a huge piece of bark flew in front of our truck
