Obituary for James Lee Tinder

James Lee Tinder, 58, of Janesville, WI, Passed away peacefully on Thursday June 2nd 2022, at Mercyhealth Hospital.
James was born October 1st, 1963 in Beloit, WI. The son of the late Larry R. and Barbara J. (Tuck) Tinder. James grew up in Beloit, WI in a full house with 5-loving brothers and 3-loving sisters. Bill, Jill, Pat, Lisa, Michael, Danny, Becky and Timmy John.
He attended Beloit schools and worked for The Goodin Company of Madison until he was no longer physically able to work.
James loved the outdoors and started deer hunting with his dad at the age of 12yrs. November deer hunting season in Augusta, WI was the highlight of his year. Deer Camp was always filled with brothers, cousins, uncles and friends. He loved the camaraderie and his best memories were made there. James also made many trips each summer to Adams County WI to fish for Crappie and just relax around the campfire with a cold Budweiser in hand. He also loved to cheer on his beloved Green Bay Packers, again with a cold Bud in hand.
James was loved and will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Save us a seat by the campfire, brother.
James is survived by his sisters, Jill (Steve) Athens of Arkdale, WI, and Lisa (Mike) Ruecker of Orlando, FL, his brothers, Michael (Karen) Tinder of Beloit, WI, Daniel Tinder of Janesville, WI, and Timothy John Tinder, of Beloit, WI, also his Aunt Janice Wells, Aunt Nancy Tinder and sister in law Ilah Tinder.
Nieces and Nephews: Lynette, Holli, Kelli, Kyle, Trevor, Sarrah, Garrett, Matthew, Chelsy, Marcus, and Megan. Also numerous cousins, close friends and the Moffitt/Schroeder Family.
James was preceded in death by, his Parents, Sister Rebecca Tinder, Brother Larry P. Tinder, brother William Tinder, nephew Stevie Athens and cousin Mickey Miedema. A memorial gathering will take place at 10:00 am Saturday June 11th, 2022 at The Foster Funeral Home 1650 Huebbe Parkway, Beloit WI. A celebration of his life to follow at Tilly’s Pizza House, 900 4th St. Beloit
