A resident of Madison, WI for most of her life, Kathryn loved to spend her time with family, reading mysteries, and travel. She brought the laughter to our family gatherings, along with some wonderful culinary delights! She was kind and caring. Her brother-in-law stated, “She was the best of all of us, and we all knew it!” Kathryn also enjoyed her travels in the United States and abroad. The Alaskan cruise she shared with her husband Tim and in-laws Kris and Steve was a highlight.

Kathryn, a 1968 graduate of Edgewood High School was employed by the Department of Transportation for eight years, and at Cuna Mutual for twenty years. The majority of her time at Cuna Mutual was as an Underwriter. Before Kathryn became ill, she was the major caregiver for her parents for nine years.

Kathryn is survived by her husband of 48 years, Timothy, her son Brian, grandchildren Zachary and Darian, sister Patricia Conrad, brother Timothy (Kim) Genin, sister-in-law Kristin (Steven) Dohm, brothers-in-law Patrick, Michael, and Christopher Zweifel, and many nieces and nephews.
